On November 9th, 2022 40 people attended an hour-long webinar coordinated by Arctic PASSION on Arctic Observing Systems: what they are, why they are important, who uses them and how they can improve. Speakers Michael Karcher (Arctic PASSION coordinator at Alfred Wegener Institute) and Arild Sundfjord (Oceanographer at Norwegian Polar Institute/Arctic PASSION), who offered invaluable explanations on how Arctic Observing Systems work and how to improve Arctic data coverage in the Arctic Ocean based on their lengthy experience within the field; and Margaret Rudolf (Graduate Research Assistant at the International Arctic Research Center/SAON ROADS), who offered her unique perspectives on co-creation, based on her experiences as Indigenous liasion for RNA CoObs, Arctic PASSION's 'sister project'. Each speakers also had time to answer questions from webinar participants and is open to receiving questions by email
